Welcome to The Wedding Wardrobe! We’re Eden and Sammie, and we’re excited to share our passion and our dedication to making people feel beautiful and confident for their special event.

Eden is recently engaged and while planning her engagement party and wedding she found she could not buy the dresses she wanted to in store. As a bride-to-be, the idea of investing in dresses without being able to try them on in person felt daunting. This is when she discovered the world of dress rentals. This option allowed her to access a collection of designer dresses without the stress of online shopping.

Sammie’s journey into the world of fashion started a little unexpectedly—while living in Japan, she developed a love for thrifting. She quickly became a pro at hunting down hidden gems, and before long, she was sourcing beautiful, second-hand designer handbags and luxury items for others to enjoy. After moving back to New Zealand, Sammie knew she wanted to keep that same passion alive. With her sharp eye for spotting truly special pieces, she set out to bring a curated selection of timeless, pre-loved treasures to others, combining her love of fashion with her commitment to sustainability.

Together, we founded The Wedding Wardrobe with a shared vision: to provide a curated selection of designer dresses that help you feel gorgeous. When preparing for a special event we think it is important you can come into our studio and try on beautiful dresses that you would normally need to purchase online.
